GATHERING ON THE GREEN

Dad Club London and Mom Club London are proud to be participating in the 35th annual Gathering on The Green community festival on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The event will be hosted by the Old South Community Organization (OSCO) at the Wortley Village Green, which is located on the historic Normal School site at 165 Elmwood Avenue East. The Green is bounded by Elmwood Avenue East to the north, Wortley Road to the west, Duchess Avenue to the south and Marley Place to the east.

The Gathering on the Green is one of London’s longest running community festivals.

Admission to the event is free and includes live entertainment, food vendors, a children’s area, face painting, dunk tank, tea garden, pet show, silent auction, community group and non-profit tables and over 100 local arts & crafts vendors. All proceeds from the event support the excellent work of OSCO in London’s Old South neighbourhood.

DCL and MCL are thrilled be participating in this year’s festivities at the Gathering on the Green! We will be running a community booth and a kids station at the event as well as distributing goodies to festival goers. We’d like to thank OSCO for hosting us and are excited to have the opportunity to connect with the community about the work of our respective clubs.

We love our volunteers! If you’re interested in helping out for an hour or two on June 3rd, please drop us a line through the website or Facebook group.

We invite all of our members to attend the Gathering on the Green and support the many local arts & crafts vendors who will be participating in the event this year. Please be sure to drop by the DCL and MCL booth as well as the kids station to say hello to your fellow members!

See you on June 3rd!
